In November 2022 Z&Z Medical installed a new digital imaging system for Dr Bollin at his practice, Bollin Chiropractic in LeMars, IA. Dr Bollin chose a 17x17 removable cesium direct digital DR imaging system by 20/20 Imaging with OpalRad software for image manipulation, storage and viewing.  The install went smoothly and in no time, he was ready to examine patients with a completely new system that would enhance his imaging and improve the workflow in his office.

Dr Bollin recently stated to his rep from Z&Z Medical that “The improvement on image quality from my old system is remarkable.  The software has been very easy to work with, and the installation was fast and stress-free.”

For Dr. Hosch at 507 Family Chiropractic in Stewartville, MN Z&Z Medical recently installed a new high frequency x-ray system by Summit Industries for the production of x-rays. We also installed a 17x17 removable cesium direct digital DR imaging system by 20/20 Imaging with OpalRad software for image manipulation, storage and viewing. The install went quite smoothly and in no time his practice was open and ready for new patients. *The mobile monitor unit (shown in photo) was not part of the 20/20 system but was purchased separately to meet Dr Bettin’s needs of moving from room to room. The Mobile Cart accommodates the workstation for uninterrupted power supply. The system remains plugged in and when you need to move to a separate room, in this case a surgery room, you simply unplug the power, and the UPS takes over as you move it to the surgery room and then plug the power back in with no interruption. It also utilizes the wireless access point that comes with the workstation to maintain network connectivity.  This approach is less expensive and has a simpler workflow than adding a laptop AND meets the customers’ immediate needs.

Z&Z Medical recently upgraded the x-ray equipment at the OrthoAgility Clinic in Cedar Falls, IA. They were using an old Control-X system that was barely working and presented a danger to patients due to the excessive ware on the overhead tube cables. Their equipment was carefully removed for disposal and was replaced with a new OTC-18 overhead system by Del Medical. Included was an elevating table, wallstand and high frequency generator with AEC. The upgrade gave the customer a room that had functioning photo timing and fixed detents at all working distances. Both features on the old equipment did not work which prevented the customer from using them. Lead radiology tech Chelsea reported that she has been pleased with the install process and the ease of use and workflow with the new equipment. It was a pleasure working with Chelsea and her staff to provide the equipment and results they expected from our company.

Dr Joslyn chose a 17x17 removable cesium direct digital DR imaging system by 20/20 Imaging with OpalRad software for image manipulation, storage and viewing. This system replaced a very old Konica SRX101 film processor. The install went smoothly and in no time he was ready to examine patients with a completely new system that would enhance his imaging and improve the workflow in his office.

Dr Joslyn recently stated to his rep from Z&Z Medical that “He has been pleased with the installation and the effectiveness of his new equipment. Because of the high quality of the images he’s now getting, it actually allowed him to recognize an abnormal mass in one of his patients (as seen in background picture above) that led to a referral to The Mayo Clinic and an unscheduled surgery to remove the tumor.” I can’t speak for Dr Joslyn’s patient, but I bet they are very happy that he made the choice to upgrade to digital imaging.
