This week is National Hospital Week. The American Hospital Association began celebrating National Hospital week more than 90 years ago to “celebrate the history, technology and dedicated professionals” in hospitals. National Hospital Week is an opportunity to highlight our hospitals, health systems and health care workers and the innovative ways they are supporting the needs of their community members.

While Z&Z Medical are not officially part of a hospital, the role that we play in supporting the needs of the hospital’s patient care is important.  Our daily interaction with hospital staff members and their outstanding efforts show how dedicated they are to their patients.

National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. Nursing professionals have never been more vital to the health of our nation than the past year and it’s more important than ever to support and recognize them for the essential role they play in their communities and the countless lives they touch every day. The American Nurses Association (ANA) announced on its website that National Nurses Week is now a monthlong celebration to expand opportunities to celebrate these superheroes of healthcare.
